Abstract

Method for the configuration of a tyre pressure sensor (10) for a vehicle (100), comprising the following steps:

• • production of a data communication connection (20) between a mobile radio device (30) and a tyre pressure sensor (10),
  • selection of at least one specific sensor parameter (40) for the vehicle (100) via a mobile radio device (30),
  • activation of the at least one selected sensor parameter (40) in the tyre pressure sensor (10).

Claims

1. A method for the configuration of a tyre pressure sensor for a vehicle, comprising the following steps:

production of a data communication connection between a mobile radio device and a tyre pressure sensor,

selection of at least one specific sensor parameter for the vehicle via a mobile radio device,

activation of the at least one selected sensor parameter in the tyre pressure sensor.

2. The method according to claim 1,

wherein

the data communication connection is established as a wireless connection.

3. The method according to claim 1,

wherein

the data communication connection is established in a direct manner with the tyre pressure sensor.

4. The method according claim 1,

wherein

the data communication connection is established in an indirect manner via a control device of the vehicle.

5. The method according to claim 1,

wherein

the selection of at least one sensor parameter specific for the vehicle from a memory unit of the tyre pressure sensor occurs.

6. The method according to claim 1,

wherein

the selection of the at least one sensor parameter specific for the vehicle occurs from a database in which the respective sensor parameter is saved.

7. The method according to claim 1,

wherein

the selection of at least two sensor parameters specific for the vehicle occurs commonly via a selection of the vehicle.

8. The method according to claim 1,

wherein

the method steps of the establishment of the data communication connection, the selection of at least one sensor parameter and the activation of the at least one selected sensor parameter occurs after mounting of the tyre pressure sensor on a wheel rim.

9. The method according to claim 1,

wherein

the data communication connection between the mobile radio device and at least two tyre pressure sensors of different wheels of a vehicle is generated for a common configuration of these tyre pressure sensors.

10. The method according to claim 1,

wherein

the tyre pressure sensor is selected for this method by scanning of a coding.

11. The method according claim 1,

wherein

the data communication connection is configured between the LF-Interface of the mobile radio device and the LF-Counter-Interface of the tyre pressure sensors wherein the data communication connection is performed particularly in a frequency range between 100 kHz and 140 kHz, preferably in a frequency range between 120 kHz and 135 kHz.

14. The method according to claim 2,

wherein

the data communication connection is established on basis of at least one of the following radio standards:

WLAN

Bluetooth

NFC (near field communication)

LF-Communication.

15. The method according to claim 5,

wherein

the selection occurs from predefined sensor parameters.

16. The method according to claim 6,

wherein

the respective sensor parameter is saved in correlation to the respective vehicle.

17. The method according to claim 7,

wherein

the selection occurs commonly via a selection of a vehicle database.

18. The method according to claim 9,

wherein

the data communication connection is generated for a common configuration of all wheels of the vehicle.

19. The method according to claim 10,

wherein

the tyre pressure sensor is selected via a scan device of the mobile radio device.

20. The method according to claim 11,

wherein

the data communication connection is performed in a frequency range between 100 kHz and 140 kHz, preferably in a frequency range between 120 kHz and 135 kHz.

12. A computer programme product for a configuration of a mobile radio device and saved on a machine readable medium, comprising:

machine readable programme means which arrange the processing unit to generate a data communication connection between a mobile radio device and the tyre pressure sensor,

machine readable programme means which arrange a processing unit to select at least one sensor parameter specific for the vehicle via the mobile radio device,

machine readable programme means which arrange the processing unit to activate at least one selected sensor parameter in the tyre pressure sensor.

13. The computer programme product according to claim 12,

wherein

the machine readable programme means are intended for the configuration of the steps of the inventive method.
