1. A sensor-equipped display device comprising:

  • a display panel comprisinga first electrode group formed in a comb shape that is includinga plurality of first electrodes extending in a first direction in a display area, and spaced apart from each other in a second direction crossing the first direction, anda first connection electrode provided in a non-display area and connected to right ends of the first electrodes,a second electrode group formed in a comb shape that is includinga plurality of second electrodes extending in the first direction in the display area and spaced apart from each other in the second direction, anda second connection electrode provided in the non-display area and connected to left ends of the second electrodes, anda detection electrode extending in the second direction with crossing the first electrodes and the second electrodes; and

    a driver configured to deliver a common driving signal to the first electrode group and the second electrode group at a time of display driving, and to selectively write a write signal to the first electrode group or the second electrode group at a time of sensing driving andconfigured to read, from the detection electrode, a read signal indicative of a variation of a sensor signal occurring between the electrode group to which the write signal is written and the detection electrode at the time of the sensing driving;

    whereinthe first electrodes and the second electrodes are alternately arranged in the second direction,in the first electrode group, the first electrodes are not continuously arranged in the second direction, andin the second electrode group, the second electrodes are not continuously arranged in the second direction.
