wherein each robot of the plurality of wireless robots is operable for movement via an associated propulsion unit;
wherein the communication module comprises a plurality of peer channels and a plurality of external channels;
wherein at least a portion of the plurality of wireless robots are in communication with at least one central point station, utilizing at least one external channel of the plurality of external channels;
wherein the plurality of wireless robots are operable to communicate with one another using the plurality of peer channels;
wherein at least one of the at least a portion of the plurality wireless robots form an advanced communication arrangement, the advanced communications arrangement operable to process information via the plurality of external channels, the plurality of peer channels, or both;
wherein information exchanged with the at least one central point utilizing the at least one external channel is communicated to the plurality of wireless robots utilizing at least a portion of the plurality of peer channels.

22. A method for adaptive communication between two or more robots and a central point station, comprising the steps of:

monitoring, at one or more robots, for data received from a central point station; determining, at the one or more first robots, which portion of the data received is to be transmitted to one or more other robots; determining, at one or more robots, an advanced communication technique; executing, by one or more robots, the advanced communication technique; wherein the advanced communication technique is determined by a function or transmission characteristics, or both, of the data received.
