Abstract

The present specification discloses various embodiments of a digital device and a method for controlling the same. A method for controlling a digital device according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise the steps of: connecting to a repeater; sensing an external device located within a preconfigured distance and connected to the repeater; receiving an audio reference data transmission request from the sensed external device; and transmitting the requested audio reference data to the external device.

Claims

1. A method of controlling a digital device, comprising:

accessing a relay;

detecting an external device connected to the relay by being located within a preset distance;

receiving an audio reference data sending request from the detected external device; and

sending the requested audio reference data to the external device.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the relay comprises a Wi-Fi (wireless-fidelity) router.

3. The method of claim 2, wherein the preset distance is a case that strength of a Wi-Fi signal is equal to or greater than a preset level.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein the external device comprises home appliances and wherein the home appliances comprise at least one selected from the group consisting of a robot cleaner, a refrigerator, and a washer.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein the external device supports a voice recognition function.

6. The method of claim 5, wherein if a preset voice recognition trigger command is received, the external device sends a request for sending audio reference data to the digital device.

7. The method of claim 1, wherein the audio reference data include audio data contained in a broadcast signal and audio data contained in a music content and wherein the audio reference data comprises audio data ranging from a current interval of an audio signal currently outputted through a speaker of the digital device to a preset interval.

The method of claim 1, wherein if there are a plurality of digital devices connected to the relay and each of a plurality of the digital devices includes a speaker, the simultaneously sends the external device audio reference data respectively outputted through the speakers of a plurality of the digital devices.

9. The method of claim 1, wherein if receiving the audio reference data, the external device executes an AEC (acoustic echo canceler) function.

10. A digital device, comprising:

a communication module performing data communication with a relay and an external device;

a storage module storing audio reference data; and

a controller configured to control an operation of the digital device,

wherein the controller is further configured to access a relay, detect an external device connected to the relay by being located within a preset distance, receive an audio reference data sending request from the detected external device, and sending the requested audio reference data to the external device.

11. The digital device of claim 10, wherein the relay comprises a Wi-Fi (wireless-fidelity) router.

12. The digital device of claim 11, wherein the preset distance is a case that strength of a Wi-Fi signal is equal to or greater than a preset level.

13. The digital device of claim 10, wherein the external device comprises home appliances and wherein the home appliances comprise at least one selected from the group consisting of a robot cleaner, a refrigerator, and a washer.

14. The digital device of claim 10, wherein the external device supports a voice recognition function.

15. The digital device of claim 14, wherein if a preset voice recognition trigger command is received, the external device sends a request for sending audio reference data to the digital device.

16. The digital device of claim 10, wherein the audio reference data include audio data contained in a broadcast signal and audio data contained in a music content and wherein the audio reference data comprises audio data ranging from a current interval of an audio signal currently outputted through a speaker of the digital device to a preset interval.

17. The digital device of claim 10, wherein if there are a plurality of digital devices connected to the relay and each of a plurality of the digital devices includes a speaker, the simultaneously sends the external device audio reference data respectively outputted through the speakers of a plurality of the digital devices.

18. The digital device of claim 10, wherein if receiving the audio reference data, the external device executes an AEC (acoustic echo canceler) function.
