1. A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus comprising:

  • an RF coil apparatus configured to receive magnetic resonance signals by a plurality of coil elements corresponding to a plurality of channels, to modurate the magnetic resonance signals to have different frequencies for each of the channels, and to output an analog multiplexed signal in which the magnetic resonance signals with different frequencies are composited over the plurality of channels; and

    a receiver including analog-to-digital conversion circuitry configured to convert the analog multiplexed signal to a digital multiplexed signal, and including a predetermined number of separation channels configured to separate the digital multiplexed signal, based on a number of the channels relating to composition of the magnetic resonance signals with the different frequencies, the receiver being configured to stop a process of separation of the digital multiplexed signal for separation channels which are not used in the process of separation among the predetermined number of separation channels.
