9. A method for installing an adapter for attaching an object to a luggage carrier, the luggage carrier comprising a first attachment member and a second attachment member, wherein the adapter comprises a hook shaped portion, a latch, and a release portion;
- the method comprising the steps of;
(i) inserting the hook shaped portion below at least a part of the first attachment member; (ii) pivoting an opposite portion of the adapter downwardly around a center of rotation defined by the hook shaped portion and the first attachment member; and (iii) pushing the adapter further downwardly such that the latch engages with the second attachment member. - View Dependent Claims (10, 11)
