Abstract

A placard with an image may be placed upon a rod such that a passenger of a vehicle may imagine interactions of the image with the changing surroundings of the vehicle. Ideally, the placard should be clear except of the image which may then appear on both sides of the placard. A hinged suction cup connection to the placard allows for reversibility of the placard and or the placard to continue being held on the window when in use. A tether may also be utilized to secure the placard to the rod.

Claims

1. A toy comprising:

a. a handheld wand;

b. an illustrated placard;

c. means for attaching the illustrated placard to one end of the handheld wand.

2. The toy of claim 1, the means for attaching the placard to one end of the handheld wand being a suction cup assembly.

3. The toy of claim 2, the suction cup assembly being hinged.

4. The toy of claim 1, further comprising a safety tether further connecting the illustrated placard and the handheld wand.

5. The toy of claim 1, the illustrated placard having a transparent substrate.

6. The toy of claim 5, the illustrated placard having a two-sided illustration, thereby being reversible.

7. The toy of claim 6, the illustration being selected from the set of illustrations consisting of:

vehicles, characters, and creatures.

8. The toy of claim 1, the means for attaching the placard to one end of the handheld wand being a magnet.

9. The toy of claim 1, the placards further comprising at least two layers of material.

10. The toy of claim 1, further comprising a motion generator positioned in the handheld wand.

11. The toy of claim 1, further comprising a sound generator positioned in the handheld wand.

12. The toy of claim 1, further comprising a power source positioned in the handheld wand with operable and selectively removable connection to a light source located on the placard.
