Abstract

The present invention relates a height-adjustable desk including: a base; a top board provided so as to be vertically elevated with respect to the base; a link mechanism disposed between the base and the top board so as to support a top board such that the top board may be elevated and including a plurality of link members; a height-adjusting means formed to be extendable at a desired length and determining the height of the top board with respect to the base according to a length thereof; and an operating means for fixing the height-adjusting means so that the height-adjusting means maintains the desired length.

Claims

1. A height-adjustable desk, comprising:

a base;

a top board provided so as to be vertically elevated with respect to the base;

a link mechanism disposed between the base and the top board so as to support a top board such that the top board may be elevated and including a plurality of link members;

a height-adjusting means formed to be extendable at a desired length and determining the height of the top board with respect to the base according to a length thereof; and

an operating means for fixing the height-adjusting means so that the height-adjusting means maintains the desired length.

2. The height-adjustable desk of claim 1, wherein the link mechanism includes a pair of first connection members disposed to be spaced apart from each other and a pair of second connection members disposed to be spaced apart from each other, and

the first and second connection members are disposed to cross each other.

3. The height-adjustable desk of claim 2, wherein one end of the first and second connection members is rotatably mounted on any one of the base and the top board, and

the other end thereof is slidably mounted on the other of the base and the top board.

4. The height-adjustable desk of claim 2, wherein the first and second connection members are disposed to be spaced apart from each other along a left and right direction of the first and second connection members opposite thereto and the top board.

5. The height-adjustable desk of claim 2, wherein the first and second connection members are disposed to be spaced apart from each other along a front and rear direction of the first and second connection members opposite thereto and the top board.

6. The height-adjustable desk of claim 1, wherein the link mechanism includes a pair of first connection members disposed to be spaced apart from each other and a pair of second connection members disposed to be spaced apart from each other, and

the first and second connection members are disposed to be parallel with each other.

7. The height-adjustable desk of claim 2, wherein the first connection members and/or the second connection members spaced apart from each other further have connector members coupled to both ends thereof, respectively.

8. The height-adjustable desk of claim 1, wherein the height-adjusting means includes:

a cylinder having a pressure fluid charged therein; and

a piston rod slidably mounted on the cylinder and supported only by the pressure fluid charged in the cylinder.

9. The height-adjustable desk of claim 8, wherein the height-adjusting means maintains any one of a state in which the piston rod is movable and a state in which the piston rod is fixed by the operating means.

10. The height-adjustable desk of claim 9, wherein the operating means includes a button part and a lever having one end rotatably mounted on the top board or the link mechanism.

11. The height-adjustable desk of claim 10, further comprising:

a cable having one end connected to the button part or the lever and the other end connected to the piston rod,

wherein the cable opens and closes a gas channel in the cylinder.

12. The height-adjustable desk of claim 1, wherein the top board includes:

a top plate connected to the link mechanism; and

an auxiliary support connected to the top plate.

13. The height-adjustable desk of claim 12, wherein the auxiliary support has an area smaller than the top plate.

14. The height-adjustable desk of claim 1, wherein a lower surface of the base has a contact surface contacting a bottom surface on which the desk is placed.

15. The height-adjustable desk of claim 1, wherein a lower surface of the base includes a leg fixing the base on a ground at a set height.

16. The height-adjustable desk of claim 15, wherein the leg is detachably mounted on the lower surface of the base.

17. The height-adjustable desk of claim 3, wherein the base and/or the top board is provided with a stopper means that restricts a slide distance of the first and second connection members.

18. The height-adjustable desk of claim 17, wherein the stopper means includes:

a stopper restricting a slide movement amount by contacting a slide end of the first and second connection members; and

a fixing means fixing the stopper.

19. The height-adjustable desk of claim 2, wherein the first and/or second connection members includes a gap forming part bent so that both ends thereof are disposed to be parallel with each other.

20. The height-adjustable desk of claim 1, further comprising:

a blocking member restricting an access to the link mechanism.

21. The height-adjustable desk of claim 20, wherein the blocking member has a board shape disposed to be adjacent to the link mechanism.

22. The height-adjustable desk of claim 3, wherein the first and/or second connection members includes a gap forming part bent so that both ends thereof are disposed to be parallel with each other.
