1. A data entry system comprising:
- A keyboard having a number of rows of letter divided into at least one large zone wherein each large zone having a number of small zones, wherein said zones together include substantially all of the letters of a language; and
A word predictive system;
Wherein upon receiving an interaction with a small zone, a system gives an error distance value to each of at least a number of letters of the interacted large zone;
wherein the error distance value of a letter from the interacted small zone is calculated based on its distance from the interaction impact, and wherein the error distance value of a letter from another small zone of said interacted large zone is calculated based on its distance from the interaction impact plus a penalty value; and
whereinupon receiving a sequence of interaction with the large zones, the system selects a number of corresponding words form a database of words wherein their total error value of their corresponding characters is less than a predefined or dynamically defined value.

Abstract
A keyboard is divided into a number of large zones each large zone having a number of small zones. The large zones, together, include substantially all of the letters of a language. A word predictive system analyzes the user'"'"'s interaction with the large zones relating to the small zones to predict a word.
