Abstract

The present invention has an object to provide a seat for vehicles in which walk-in operation can be cancelled by simple operation. A seat for vehicles includes: a mechanism to shift a seat cushion (2) from a seating position to an escape position by operation of an operation part (9); and a walk-in cancel mechanism (400) for cancelling walk-in operation which restrains a seat back (3) from rotating to a fully tilted-down position of the seat back (3) when the seat cushion (2) is shifted from the seating position to the escape position and the seat back (3) is rotated to a middle tilted position, and also switches a slide rail device in a locked state to an unlocked state, in which the walk-in cancel mechanism (400) is automatically operated in conjunction with operation of the operation part (9).

Claims

1. A seat for vehicles comprising:

a mechanism to shift a seat cushion from a seating position to an escape position by operation of an operation part; and

a walk-in cancel mechanism to cancel walk-in operation which restrains a seat back from rotating to a fully tilted-down position of the seat back when the seat cushion is shifted from the seating position to the escape position and the seat back is rotated to a middle tilted-down position, and also switches a slide rail device in a locked state to an unlocked state,

wherein the walk-in cancel mechanism is automatically operated in conjunction with operation of the operation part.

2. The seat for vehicles according to claim 1, wherein the operation part is connected to the walk-in cancel mechanism.

3. The seat for vehicles according to claim 2, wherein

the operation part is an operation strap, and

the operation strap is connected to the walk-in cancel mechanism through a lever and a wire.

4. The seat for vehicles according to claim 3, further comprising:

an escape mechanism to shift the seat cushion disposed on a base part from a normal seating posture through a flipped-up posture to an escape posture with the seat cushion placed forward of the base part,

the escape mechanism comprising;

a support leg part having one end connected to a frame of the seat cushion rotatably around a first rotation shaft and another end connected to the base part rotatably around a second rotation shaft;

a guide part to be engaged with the one end of the support leg part to guide the one end so as to lift the one end;

a first coil spring biasing the support leg part so as to have the one end guided by the guide part and flip up a portion connected with the frame; and

a second coil spring provided on the second rotation shaft to apply a biasing force so as to rotate the one end of the support leg part forward around the second rotation shaft.

5. The seat for vehicles according to claim 4, wherein

in the support leg part, when the seat cushion is in the seating posture, the other end is located on a front side of the base part and the one end extends toward a rear of the base part, and

the first coil spring is located between the frame and the support leg part so as to bias the one end of the support leg part forward.

6. The seat for vehicles according to claim 5, wherein the coil spring is located under a seating surface of the seat cushion.
