Abstract

Described herein is a dosage of foam including from about 5 cm³ to about 70 cm³ of the foam. The foam includes from about 0.5 g to about 4 g of a detersive surfactant, from about 0.001 g to about 4 g propellant, a foam density of from about 0.05 g/cm³ to about 0.35 g/cm³, a bubble size distribution having an R₃₂ of from about 5 μm to about 100 μm, and a yield point of from about 4 Pa to about 39 Pa.

Claims

1. ) A dosage of foam comprising:

a. from about 5 cm³ to about 150 cm³ of the foam;

wherein the foam comprises;

i. from about 0.5 g to about 4 g of a detersive surfactant by weight of the foam;

ii. from about 0.001 g to about 4 g propellant by weight of the foam;

iii. a foam density of from about 0.05 g/cm³ to about 0.35 g/cm³;

iv. a bubble size distribution comprising an R₃₂ of from about 5 μ

m to about 150 μ

m;

v. a yield point of from 4 Pa to 39 Pa;

vi. from about 0.0035 g to about 0.7 g of a particulate.

2. ) The dosage of foam of claim 1, wherein the bubble size distribution comprises an R₃₂ of from about 5 μ

m to about 75 μ

m.

3. ) The dosage of foam of claim 1, wherein the bubble size distribution comprises an R₃₂ of from about 5 μ

m to about 60 μ

m.

4. ) The dosage of foam of claim 1, wherein the bubble size distribution comprises an R₃₂ of from about 10 μ

m to about 55 μ

m.

5. ) The dosage of foam of claim 1, wherein the bubble size distribution comprises an R₃₂ of from about 25 μ

m to about 50 μ

m.

6. ) The dosage of foam of claim 1, wherein the yield point is from about 5 Pa to about 20 Pa.

7. ) The dosage of foam of claim 1, wherein the yield point is from about 6 Pa to about 19 Pa.

8. ) The dosage of foam of claim 1, wherein the volume of the dosage of foam is from about 10 g/cm³ to about 50 g/cm³.

9. ) The dosage of foam of claim 1, wherein the yield point is from about 15 Pa to about 19 Pa.

10. ) The dosage of foam of claim 1, wherein the foam density is from about 0.08 g/cm³ to about 0.2 g/cm³.

11. ) The dosage of foam of claim 1, wherein the foam density is from about 0.08 g/cm³ to about 0.12 g/cm³.

12. ) The dosage of foam of claim 1, wherein the foam density is from about 0.1 g/cm³ to about 0.12 g/cm³.

13. ) The dosage of foam of claim 1, wherein the foam density is from about 0.12 g/cm³ to about 0.2 g/cm³.

14. ) The dosage of foam of claim 1, wherein the foam density is from about 0.15 g/cm³ to about 0.2 g/cm³.

15. ) The dosage of foam of claim 1, wherein the propellant is selected from the group consisting of isobutene, propane, trans 1,3,3,3 tetrafluroprop-1-ene, and mixtures thereof.

16. ) The dosage of foam of claim 1, wherein the detersive surfactant is an anionic surfactant.

17. ) The dosage of foam of claim 1, wherein the particulate is selected from the group consisting of zinc pyrithione, zinc carbonate, ethylene glycol distearate, mica, titanium dioxide, and combinations thereof.

18. ) The dosage of foam of claim 1, wherein the propellant is trans 1,3,3,3 tetrafluroprop-1-ene.

19. ) A dosage of foam comprising:

a. from about 10 cm³ to about 150 cm³ of the foam;

wherein the foam comprises;

i. from about 0.5 g to about 4 g of a detersive surfactant by weight of the foam;

ii. from about 0.00005 g to about 0.25 g of a cationic deposition polymer by weight of the foam;

iii. a foam density of from about 0.05 g/cm³ to about 0.35 g/cm³;

iv. a bubble size distribution comprising an R₃₂ of from about 5 μ

m to about 100 μ

m;

v. a yield point of from about 4 Pa to about 39 Pa;

vi. from about 0.0035 g to about 0.7 g of a particulate.

20. ) The dosage of foam of claim 19, wherein the particulate is selected from the group consisting of zinc pyrithione, zinc carbonate, ethylene glycol distearate, mica, titanium dioxide, and combinations thereof.
