Abstract

A vehicle, in particular an electric vehicle or a hybrid vehicle, having a charging apparatus for charging a vehicle-integrated energy storage cell by means of an external voltage source, wherein the charging apparatus has a charge pump for setting a voltage ratio between an input voltage and an output voltage, wherein the charge pump provides at east two discrete voltage ratios.

Claims

1. A vehicle, in particular an electric vehicle or a hybrid vehicle, having a charging apparatus for charging a vehicle-integrated energy storage cell using an external voltage source wherein the charging apparatus comprises:

a charge pump or setting, a voltage ratio between an input voltage and an output voltage, wherein the charge pump has at least two link circuits for different voltage ratios.

2. The vehicle as claimed in claim 1, wherein the output voltage is applied to the energy storage cell and, when the energy storage cell is being charged, the voltage of the external power supply is applied to the charge pump as the input voltage.

3. The vehicle as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least two link circuits have two link circuits that can be connected either in parallel or in series for setting the different voltage ratios.

5. The vehicle as claimed in claim 1, wherein the charge pump is configured to set plurality of discrete voltage ratios.

6. The vehicle as claimed in claim 1, wherein the vehicle integrated energy storage cell is configured to supply power to an electric machine.

7. A method for charging a vehicle-integrated energy storage cell, as claimed in claim 1, wherein the charge pump having the at least two link circuits is used to change between a plurality of discrete voltage ratios, between an input voltage and an output voltage.

8. The method of claim 7, wherein the vehicle-integrated energy storage cell is in a vehicle.

4. The vehicle aimed in claim wherein the charging apparatus further comprises a control apparatus for automatically setting the voltage ratios.
