Abstract

There is provided a control device including a display control unit configured to cause display of a display unit to shift between a first display mode in which a first kind of image having a predetermined relation with an electric-to-electric (EE) image acquired by an imaging unit and a second kind of image different from the first kind of image are displayed and a second display mode in which the first kind of image is not displayed and the second kind of image is displayed, and a power control unit configured to control power supply to the imaging unit in the shift between the first and second display modes.

Claims

1. A control device, comprising:

a display control unit configured to control display of a display unit to shift between a first display mode and a second display mode based on a slide operation on the display unit form a user input operation,

wherein the first display mode corresponds to a mode in which a first image having a relation with an electric-to-electric (EE) image acquired by an imaging unit is displayed, and

wherein the second display mode corresponds to a mode in which the first image is excluded and a second image different from the first image is displayed.

2. The control device according to claim 1, further comprising:

a power control unit configured to control power supply to the imaging unit in the shift between the first display mode and the second display mode.

3. The control device according to claim 2, wherein the power supplied to the imaging unit in the first display mode is greater than the power supplied to the imaging unit in the second display mode.

4. The control device according to claim 1, wherein the first image is displayed based on a ratio between an area of the second image and an area of the display unit that is smaller than a particular value.

The control device according to claim 2, wherein the power control unit is further configured to control the power supply to the imaging unit based on a positional relation between a first region set to correspond to a display region in a screen of the display unit and the first image on the screen.

6. The control device according to claim 5, wherein the power control unit is further configured to prevent supply of power to a first portion of the imaging unit based on exclusion of the first image from the first region.

7. The control device according to claim 6, wherein the first region is a region includes the display region.

8. The control device according to claim 6, wherein the power control unit is further configured to end the power supply to the first portion of the imaging unit based on a particular time that has passed in a state in which the first image is excluded from the first region.

9. The control device according to claim 6, wherein the power control unit is further configured to supply the power to the first portion of the imaging unit based on inclusion of at least a part of the first image in a second region set to correspond to the display region.

10. The control device according to claim 9, wherein the first region is a region includes the second region.

11. The control device according to claim 9, wherein the first region is same region as the second region.

12. The control device according to claim 5, wherein the power control unit is further configured to supply the power to a second portion of the imaging unit based on inclusion of at least a part of the first image in the first region.

13. The control device according to claim 5,

wherein the screen further includes a first screen superimposed with a second screen, and

wherein the first region is set in each of the first screen and the second screen.

14. The control device according to claim 13, wherein the first region in the second screen is set to correspond to the display region of the first screen based on the second screen that is shielded by the first screen and that the first screen includes the display region.

15. The control device according to claim 2, wherein the power control unit is further configured to control the power supply to the imaging unit based on when the shift between the first display mode and the second display mode occurs and a particular time that has passed.

16. The control device according to claim 1, wherein the first image includes one of the EE image, an image displayed as an alternative of the EE image, or a reproduced image having a common attribute to the EE image.

17. The control device according to claim 16, wherein the first image further includes a reproduced image having the common attribute to the EE image, wherein the common attribute corresponds to at least one of a photographing time, a photographing position, or a subject.

18. The control device according to claim 16, further comprising:

a power control unit configured to start supply of power to a second portion of the imaging unit based on a determination that the reproduced image displayed on the display unit has the common attribute to the EE image acquired within a particular time, in a state in which the power supply is prevented to the second portion of the imaging unit.

19. The control device according to claim 16, wherein the first image includes a plurality of EE images acquired by a plurality of imaging units.

20. The control device according to claim 16, wherein the first image includes a plurality of EE images for which images acquired by a single imaging unit are displayed in different states.

21. The control device according to claim 2, further comprising:

an input processing unit configured to acquire an operation input of a user,

wherein the power control unit is further configured to;

change a storage state of a storage type lens included in the imaging unit based on an end of the power supply to a second portion of the imaging unit according to the operation input; and

prevent change of the storage state of the storage type lens based on the end of the power supply to the second portion of the imaging unit in the shift between the first display mode and second display mode.

22. A control method, comprising:

controlling display of a display unit to shift between a first display mode and a second display mode based on a slide operation on the display unit form a user input operation,

wherein the first display mode is a mode in which a first image having a relation with an electric-to-electric (EE) image acquired by an imaging unit is displayed, and

wherein the second display mode is a mode in which the first image is excluded and a second image different from the first image is displayed.

23. A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium having stored thereon computer-executable instructions which, when executed by a computer, cause the computer to execute operations, the operations comprising:

controlling display of a display unit to shift between a first display mode and a second display mode based on a slide operation on the display unit form an operation input of a user,

wherein the first display mode is a mode in which a first image having a relation with an electric-to-electric (EE) image acquired by an imaging unit is displayed, and

wherein the second display mode is a mode in which the first image is excluded and a second image different from the first image is displayed.
