Abstract

A wireless access system at a building is provided. A door lock system includes: a lock status device configured to be coupled to the drive shaft of a lock device, the lock status device assisting in locking and unlocking a lock of a lock device. A processor is coupled to the door lock system. An image capture device at the building is configured to be in communication with the door lock system and capture an image of an object in the vicinity of the building. A light source assembly is in communication with the image capture device.

Claims

1. A wireless access system at a building, comprising:

a door lock system including;

a lock status device configured to be coupled to the drive shaft of a lock device, the lock status device assisting in locking and unlocking a lock of a lock device;

a processor coupled to the door lock system;

an image capture device at the building configured to be in communication with the door lock system and capture an image of an object in the vicinity of the building; and

a light source assembly in communication with the image capture device.

2. The system of claim 1, wherein the processor is integrated with the door lock system.

3. The system of claim 1, further comprising:

a computing device coupled to the image capture device.

4. The system of claim 2, wherein the computing device includes logic that, when executed by the processor, causes the processor to activate the light source assembly.

5. The system of claim 1, wherein the image capture device is configured to capture a first image of the object.

6. The system of claim 1, wherein the light assembly device is activated to provide illumination of the object.

7. The system of claim 1, wherein the image capture device is configured to capture a second image of the object.

8. The system of claim 7, wherein a comparison is made of the first image and the second image to determine a regional property of the object in the first image.

9. The system of claim 1, wherein the image capture device is a camera.

10. The system of claim 1, further comprising:

a motion recognition device coupled to the camera.

11. The system of claim 10, wherein the motion recognition device is included with the camera.

12. The system of claim 10, wherein the motion recognition device is integrated with the camera.

13. The system of claim 10, wherein the motion recognition device is run on an image of the object where the object is a person in proximity to the building.

14. The system of claim 13, wherein an analyzed image of the person is made.

15. The system of claim 9, wherein the camera is a digital camera.

16. The system of claim 9, wherein the camera includes computing resources.

17. The system of claim 16, wherein the computing resources are implemented at least partially within the camera.

18. The system of claim 9, wherein the camera captures at least one of a person'"'"'s:

face and body motion.

19. The system of claim 18, further comprising:

a database coupled to the door lock system, the database including at least one or more of a person'"'"'s face and body motions.

20. The system of claim 19, wherein one or more of the person'"'"'s face and body motions are used to post-process previously acquired images.

21. The system of claim 9, wherein the camera is configured to acquire a constant stream of a person'"'"'s image.
