Method and System for Providing Data Communication in Continuous Glucose Monitoring and Management System
First Claim
1. A method for transmit window detection, comprising:
- receiving signals from an in vivo analyte sensor corresponding to monitored analyte level;
generating data corresponding to the signals received from the in vivo analyte sensor;
detecting, using a window detection module, a data frame start;
comparing a current value of a detection count to a transmission window value;
when the current value of the detection count is equal to the transmission window value, transmitting a signal from the window detection module to a main controller to start transmission of the data corresponding to the signals received from the in vivo analyte sensor; and
when the current value of the detection count is not equal to the transmission window value, enabling a detection clock to count for a time period, and when the detection clock has counted for the time period, incrementing the detection count.
