Abstract

A method for determining link direction of resources in a wireless communication system, the method performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving frame configuration information from a base station, wherein the frame configuration information indicates at least one of default resources and flexible resources in a frame, receiving downlink control information (DCI) format from the base station, and determining link direction of the flexible resources in the frame based on the frame configuration information and the DCI format.

Claims

1. A method for determining link direction of resources in a wireless communication system, the method performed by a user equipment (UE) and comprising:

receiving frame configuration information from a base station, wherein the frame configuration information indicates at least one of default resources and flexible resources in a frame;

receiving downlink control information (DCI) format from the base station; and

determining link direction of the flexible resources in the frame based on the frame configuration information and the DCI format.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein when the DCI format indicates to the UE to transmit an uplink transmission to the base station, the link direction of the flexible resources is determined as uplink.

3. The method of claim 1, wherein when the DCI format indicates to the UE to receive a downlink transmission from the base station, the link direction of the flexible resources is determined a downlink.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein the default resources indicated as a downlink or an uplink by the frame configuration information cannot be indicated, by the DCI format, as an uplink or a downlink respectively, and

wherein the flexible resources can be indicated as a downlink or an uplink by the DCI format.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein the frame configuration information is received through a radio resource control (RRC) message.

6. The method of claim 1, wherein the DCI format is received through a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH).

7. A user equipment (UE) comprising:

a transceiver configured to transmit and receive a radio signal; and

a processor coupled to the transceiver,

wherein the processor is configured to;

receive frame configuration information from a base station, wherein the frame configuration information indicates at least one of default resources and flexible resources in a frame,

receive downlink control information (DCI) format from the base station, and

determine link direction of the flexible resources in the frame based on the frame configuration information and the DCI format.

8. The UE of claim 7, wherein when the DCI format indicates to the UE to transmit an uplink transmission to the base station, the link direction of the flexible resources is determined as uplink.

9. The UE of claim 7, wherein when the DCI format indicates to the UE to receive a downlink transmission from the base station, the link direction of the flexible resources is determined a downlink.

10. The UE of claim 7, wherein the default resources indicated as a downlink or an uplink by the frame configuration information cannot be indicated, by the DCI format, as an uplink or a downlink respectively, and

wherein the flexible resources can be indicated as a downlink or an uplink by the DCI format.

11. The UE of claim 7, wherein the frame configuration information is received through a radio resource control (RRC) message.

12. The UE of claim 7, wherein the DCI format is received through a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH).
