Abstract
A reposable surgical clip applier is provided and includes a shaft assembly having an elongated shaft and a housing assembly. The housing assembly is disposed about a proximal portion of the elongated shaft and includes a housing and a hub that is operably coupled to the elongated shaft. The housing defines a counterbore. The hub is slidably disposed within the counterbore and defines a throughhole configured to receive the elongated shaft therein. A force applied to the elongated shaft in a distal direction causes the hub to distally advance within the housing. A shaft assembly for use with a reposable surgical clip applier is also provided.
