LIGHTING DEVICE WITH CONNECTOR FOR ADD ON ELECTRICAL DEVICE
First Claim
1. A lighting device, comprising:
- a first portion for electrically connecting the lighting device;
a solid state light source;
a second portion mounted on the first portion, said second portion having an outer surface, wherein at least a portion of the outer surface is light transmissive for outputting light originating from the solid state light source;
a metal heat sink extending along the outer surface, wherein the metal heat sink is arranged in thermal contact with the solid state light source; and
a connector arranged at the metal heat sink for connecting an electrical device,wherein a distance from the first portion to the connector is longer than a distance from the first portion to at least one light transmissive portion of said outer surface, andwherein the second portion of the lighting device comprises a body and the metal heat sink comprises a metal strip extending along an outer surface of the body, and wherein the first portion includes an electrical interface, the lighting device further comprising an electrical connection 44 between the electrical interface of the first portion and an electrical interface of the connector, the electrical connection being arranged at least partly between the metal strip and the body.

Abstract
A lighting device (100, 600) comprises a first portion (110, 610), a solid state light source (120, 620), a second portion (130, 630), a metal heat sink (140, 640-641) and a connector (150). The first portion is arranged for electrically connecting the lighting device. The second portion is mounted on the first portion and has an outer surface, wherein at least a portion (131, 631) of the outer surface is light transmissive for outputting light originating from the solid state light source. The metal heat sink extends along the outer surface, and is arranged in thermal contact with the solid state light source. The connector is arranged at the metal heat sink for connecting an electrical device (160, 660). A distance (D1, D3, D4) from the first portion to the connector is longer than a distance (D5) from the first portion to at least one light transmissive portion (131, 631) of the outer surface.
