Abstract

A vehicular heat management system includes a heat medium circuit, a heat source portion, and a device. A heat medium cooling an engine circulates in the heat medium circuit. The heat source portion heats the heat medium. The device is configured to function and heat the heat medium when the heat medium flowing into the device is at or above a predetermined temperature. When the engine is being warmed up, heat generated by the heat source portion is supplied to the device in preference to the engine. According to this, since the heat generated by the heat source portion is supplied to the device in preference to the engine when the engine is being warmed up, the engine can be warmed up early.

Claims

1. A vehicular heat management system comprising:

a heat medium circuit in which a heat medium cooling an engine circulates;

a heat source portion that heats the heat medium; and

a device that is configured to function and heat the heat medium when the heat medium flowing into the device is at or above a predetermined temperature;

a temperature detection portion that detects a temperature of the heat medium heated by the heat source portion; and

a control unit that controls an operation of a switching portion such that the heat medium heated by the heat source portion flows into the device when the temperature of the heat medium detected by the temperature detection portion is at or above the predetermined temperature, wherein

when the engine is being warmed up, heat generated by the heat source portion is supplied to the device in preference to the engine.

2. The vehicular heat management system according to claim 1, further comprising:

a heater core that heats an air sent to a vehicle compartment by exchanging heat between the air and the heat medium, wherein

the device and the heater core are arranged in parallel with each other with respect to a flow of the heat medium.

3. The vehicular heat management system according to claim 1, wherein:

the switching portion that switches a circulation condition of the heat medium between the device, the heater core, the engine, and the heat source portion.

5. The vehicular heat management system according to claim 1, wherein

when the temperature of the heat medium detected by the temperature detection portion is increasing to the predetermined temperature, the control unit controls the operation of the switching portion such that the heat medium heated by the heat source portion flows into the heater core.

6. The vehicular heat management system according to claim 5, further comprising:

an air flow rate adjusting portion that adjusts a flow rate of an air flowing through the heater core, wherein

the switching portion is configured to adjust a flow rate of the heat medium flowing through the heater core, and

when the temperature of the heat medium detected by the temperature detection portion is increasing to the predetermined temperature, the control unit controls operations of the air flow rate adjusting portion and the switching portion such that at least one of the flow rate of the air flowing through the heater core and the flow rate of the heat medium flowing through the heater core decreases compared to a condition where the temperature of the heat medium detected by the temperature detection portion is at or above the predetermined temperature.

7. The vehicular heat management system according to claim 5, further comprising:

a flow rate proportion adjusting portion that adjusts a proportion between the flow rate of the air flowing through the heater core and a flow rate of the air bypassing the heater core, wherein

when the temperature of the heat medium detected by the temperature detection portion is higher than a target temperature, the control unit controls an operation of the flow rate proportion adjusting portion such that;

a proportion of the flow rate of the air flowing through the heater core decreases compared to a condition where the temperature of the heat medium detected by the temperature detection portion is at or below the target temperature; and

a proportion of the flow rate of the air bypassing the heater core increases compared to the condition where the temperature of the heat medium detected by the temperature detection portion is at or below the target temperature.

8. The vehicular heat management system according to claim 1, wherein

when the temperature of the heat medium detected by the temperature detection portion is lower than the predetermined temperature, the control unit controls the operation of the switching portion such that a flow rate of the heat medium heated by the heat source portion and flowing through the heater core decreases compared to a condition where the temperature of the heat medium detected by the temperature detection portion is at or above the predetermined temperature.

9. The vehicular heat management system according to claim 1, wherein

when the temperature of the heat medium detected by the temperature detection portion is at or above the predetermined temperature, the control unit controls the operation of the switching portion such that the heat medium heated by the heat source portion flows into the device and the heater core.

10. The vehicular heat management system according to claim 1, wherein

the device is an EGR cooler that cools an exhaust gas returning to an intake side of the engine by exchanging heat between the exhaust gas and the heat medium.
