1. A safety seat permanently integrated into a vehicle, wherein the integrated safety seat comprises:

  • a seat bottom and a back, wherein the seat bottom and the back incline from a plurality of forward facing positions to a plurality of rear facing positions, thereby allowing an occupant ranging in age from a newborn to an adult positioned in the safety seat to face the driver when the safety seat is in a forward facing position or face the rear of the vehicle when the safety seat is in a rear facing position;

    a first support positioned at a first end of the seat bottom, wherein the support serves as a footrest when the occupant in the safety seat is positioned in a forward facing position and wherein the support serves as a headrest when the occupant in the safety seat is positioned in a rear facing position;

    a second support positioned at a first end of the back, wherein the second support serves as a headrest when the occupant in the safety seat is positioned in a forward facing position and wherein the second support serves as a footrest when the occupant in the safety seat is positioned in a rear facing position; and

    a means for inclining the seat bottom and back.
