Abstract
Electrical energy which has been provided for a given session (e.g. for charging an electric vehicle), but was not called up (required), can be otherwise used for at least one other session. The available electrical energy can be divided efficiently between the sessions in accordance with the actually required energy. Further, a plan set prior to this allocation requires only a low, or zero, degree of predictive accuracy since the amounts of assigned electrical energy can be corrected during the charging process. This is useful, for example, in electro-mobility and load management when charging a plurality of electric vehicles.

22. A method for providing electrical energy, the method comprising:

providing electrical energy for a running session and making available at least a proportion of the electrical energy provided for the running session, which proportion has not been called up, to at least one other session that is running in parallel, wherein the proportion of the electrical energy, which has not been called up, is free or has not been requested; providing the at least the proportion of the electrical energy made available for the running session but has not been called up to the at least one other session running in parallel if at least the proportion of the electrical energy provided for the running session, but not called up, reaches at least a predetermined threshold value. - View Dependent Claims (23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34)

35. An apparatus for providing electrical energy to an electrical consumer, the apparatus comprising:
a processing unit configured to cause at least a proportion of an electrical energy provided for a first running session which has not been called up to be provided to at least one other session running in parallel with the first running session, in which the proportion of the electrical energy, which has not been called up, is free or is not required, and in which at least the proportion of the electrical energy provided for the running session which has not been called up is provided to the at least one other session running in parallel if at least the proportion of the electrical energy provided for the session but not called up reaches at least a predetermined threshold value.
- 36. The apparatus according to claim 36, wherein said processing unit is configured to enable setting a load distribution for at least one session by a stepwise allocation of the electrical energy.
