1. A power receiving apparatus, comprising:
- a power receiving circuit including a power receiving coil configured to receive a wireless power transmitted from a power transmitting apparatus;
a heat storage section;
a detection circuit configured to detect a temperature of the heat storage section; and
a control circuit configured to calculate a value based on the temperature of the heat storage section and to compare the calculated value with a first threshold value and a second threshold value,whereinwhen the calculated value is higher than the first threshold value and is lower than the second threshold value, the control circuit causes the power receiving apparatus to transmit a first request to the power transmitting apparatus, the first request requesting the power transmitting apparatus to decrease an amount of the wireless power, andwhen the calculated value is higher than the second threshold value, the control circuit causes the power receiving apparatus to transmit a second request to the power transmitting apparatus, the second request requesting the power transmitting apparatus to stop transmitting the wireless power.
