- a. dispensing a personal care composition from a mechanical foam dispenser as a dosage of foam;
b. applying the dosage of foam to hair or skin;
c. rinsing the dosage of foam from hair or skin;
wherein the personal care composition comprises a viscosity of less than 60 cP;
wherein the personal care composition comprises a lather volume greater than 77 cm3;
wherein the personal care composition comprises from about 10% to about 50%, by weight of the composition, a surfactant system wherein the surfactant system comprises;
(i) from about 10% to about 30%, by weight of the composition, of an acyl glutamate;
(ii) from about 0.5% to about 7%, by weight of the composition, of a zwitterionic co-surfactant;
wherein the surfactant system is substantially free of sulfate-based surfactants.
