1. An LED lighting system comprising:
- at least one LED circuit having at least two LEDs, wherein the at least two LEDs in the at least one LED circuit are the same or different colors; and
an LED driver;
wherein the LED driver has an input voltage and an output voltage, the LED driver having an input of a first voltage and a first frequency from a mains power source and providing a DC voltage output;
wherein the LED driver includes a voltage regulator that regulates the output voltage at a relatively fixed level; and
wherein the LED lighting system has integrated circuitry that allows for adjustability of the relatively fixed level of the output voltage of the LED driver and brightness of the at least one LED circuit.

7. An LED lighting device comprising:

at least one LED circuit having at least one LED mounted on a substrate shaped like an incandescent filament; a bridge rectifier connected to an AC mains voltage, wherein the bridge rectifier provides a rectified DC output; an LED driver, wherein an input of the LED driver is connected to the bridge rectifier and an output of the LED driver is connected to the at least one LED circuit; a capacitor connected to the bridge rectifier or the LED driver, wherein the capacitor smooths the output of the LED driver before the output of the LED driver is provided to the at least one LED circuit; and wherein the LED lighting device is packaged in a bulb; and wherein the LED lighting device is configured to be connected to a socket. - View Dependent Claims (8, 9, 10, 11)
