DEODORANT AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME
First Claim
1. A method of producing a deodorant, comprising:
- contacting oxidized cellulose nanofibers having carboxyl groups and containing ions of a first metal in salt form, dispersed in a solvent in the concentration of 0.005% by mass or more and 0.1% by mass or less, with a salt of a second metal other than the first metal to produce metal-containing oxidized cellulose nanofibers, whereinthe metal-containing oxidized cellulose nanofibers comprise the oxidized cellulose nanofibers having carboxyl groups and ions of the second metal, the ions of the second metal forming salts with the carboxyl groups of the oxidized cellulose nanofibers, and the metal-containing oxidized cellulose nanofibers have a number-average fiber diameter of 2 nm or more and 100 nm or less, wherethe second metal is a metal other than sodium.

Abstract
Disclosed is a method of producing a deodorant. The method comprises: contacting oxidized cellulose nanofibers having carboxyl groups and containing ions of a first metal in salt form, dispersed in a solvent in the concentration of 0.005% by mass or more and 0.1% by mass or less, with a salt of a second metal other than the first metal to produce metal-containing oxidized cellulose nanofibers. The metal-containing oxidized cellulose nanofibers comprise the oxidized cellulose nanofibers having carboxyl groups and ions of the second metal, the ions of the second metal forming salts with the carboxyl groups of the oxidized cellulose nanofibers, and the metal-containing oxidized cellulose nanofibers have a number-average fiber diameter of 2 nm or more and 100 nm or less, where the second metal is a metal other than sodium.
