1. A projection apparatus, among a plurality of projection apparatuses configured to project a plurality of projection images side by side as a single image, the projection apparatus comprising:
- a light emission unit;
a control unit configured to control the light emission unit to emit a light amount based on a brightness value of a first image signal; and
a projection unit configured to modulate light emitted from the light emission unit based on the first image signal and project a first projection image on a projection plane,wherein the control unit is configured to control the light amount emitted by the light emission unit based on a brightness value of a first region of the first image signal, the first region adjoining a second projected image projected by another projection apparatus.
