Abstract

In a method for producing a lamination stack for rotors and/or stators of electric motors or generators, laminations are punched from electrical steel, a light-activated adhesive is applied to at least one side of the laminations, respectively, and the adhesive is irradiated and activated with a light of a required wavelength immediately before the adhesive exits from an application unit. The laminations are then stacked to a lamination stack. An adhesive application device for carrying out the method has at least one application unit with at least one valve for discharging an adhesive. At least one radiation source is arranged in a region of the valve and emits a radiation and directs the radiation to the adhesive provided in the region of the at least one valve.

Claims

1. A method for producing a lamination stack for rotors and/or stators of electric motors or generators, the method comprising:

punching laminations;

applying a light-activated adhesive with an application unit to at least one side of the laminations, respectively, and irradiating and activating the adhesive with a light of a required wavelength immediately before the adhesive exits from the application unit;

stacking the laminations to a lamination stack.

2. The method according to claim 1, further comprising activating the adhesive for fixing magnets on the lamination stack forming a rotor.

3. The method according to claim 1, wherein the step of irradiating is carried out in a supply line to a valve of the application unit or in a valve tappet of a valve of the application unit.

4. The method according to claim 1, wherein the adhesive is a UV-adhesive and the light of the required wavelength is UV-light.

5. The method according to claim 1, wherein in the step of applying the adhesive is applied as a drop.

6. The method according to claim 1, wherein in the step of applying the adhesive is applied contactless.

7. The method according to claim 1, wherein in the step of irradiating an irradiation time depends on a stroke rate of a punching tool for punching the laminations.

8. The method according to claim 1, further comprising the step of plasma treating an electrical steel prior to punching the laminations to adjust a surface energy of the electrical steel and activate a surface of the electrical steel.

9. The method according to claim 1, wherein the adhesive is applied before or after joining of magnets.

10. The method according to claim 1, wherein in the step of irradiating an irradiation time is dependent on a joining time of magnets or a working time of the adhesive.

17. An adhesive application device for carrying out the method of claim 1, the device comprising:

at least one application unit comprising at least one valve for discharging an adhesive;

at least one radiation source arranged in a region of the at least one valve and configured to emit a radiation and direct the radiation to the adhesive provided in the region of the at least one valve.

The application device according to claim 17, further comprising a supply line configured to supply the adhesive to the at least one valve, wherein the supply line comprises a radiation-permeable region transparent to the radiation in a region where the radiation is emitted by the radiation source.

19. The application device according to claim 18, wherein the radiation-permeable region of the supply line extends up to the at least one valve.

20. The application device according to claim 18, further comprising at least one cover which is impermeable to the radiation and which is configured to at least partially cover the radiation-permeable region.

21. The application device according to claim 20, wherein the at least one cover surrounds the supply line and is infinitely adjustable.

22. The application device according to claim 17, wherein the at least one valve is provided on a support;

wherein the support is transversely adjustable to a feed direction of an electrical steel strip or electrical steel sheet through the application device.

23. The application device according to claim 17, further comprising a heating element configured to heat the adhesive in the at least one valve in an application area.

24. The application device according to claim 17, further comprising a frame, wherein the at least one application unit includes a first application unit and a second application unit, wherein the frame accommodates the first and second application units, wherein the first application unit is arranged above and the second application unit is arranged below an electrical steel strip or an electrical steel sheet transportable through the frame.

11. A method for producing a lamination stack for rotors and/or stators of electric motors or generators, the method comprising:

applying a light-activated adhesive with an application unit to at least one side of electrical steel and irradiating and activating the adhesive with a light of a required wavelength immediately before the adhesive exits from the application unit;

subsequently punching laminations from the electrical steel;

stacking the laminations to a lamination stack.

12. The method according to claim 11, wherein the step of irradiating is carried out in a supply line to a valve of the application unit or in a valve tappet of a valve of the application unit.

13. The method according to claim 11, wherein in the step of irradiating an irradiation time depends on a stroke rate of a punching tool for punching the laminations.

14. The method according to claim 11, further comprising the step of plasma treating an electrical steel from which the laminations are to be punched prior to applying the adhesive to thereby adjust a surface energy of the electrical steel and activate a surface of the electrical steel.

15. The method according to claim 11, wherein the adhesive is applied before or after joining of magnets.

16. The method according to claim 11, wherein in the step of irradiating an irradiation time is dependent on a joining time of magnets or a working time of the adhesive.

25. An adhesive application device for carrying out the method of claim 11, the device comprising:

at least one application unit comprising at least one valve for discharging an adhesive;

at least one radiation source arranged in a region of the at least one valve and configured to emit a radiation and direct the radiation to the adhesive provided in the region of the at least one valve.

The application device according to claim 25, further comprising a supply line configured to supply the adhesive to the at least one valve, wherein the supply line comprises a radiation-permeable region transparent to the radiation in a region where the radiation is emitted by the radiation source.

27. The application device according to claim 26, wherein the radiation-permeable region of the supply line extends up to the at least one valve.

28. The application device according to claim 25, further comprising at least one cover which is impermeable to the radiation and which is configured to at least partially cover the radiation-permeable region.

29. The application device according to claim 28, wherein the at least one cover surrounds the supply line and is infinitely adjustable.

30. The application device according to claim 25, wherein the at least one valve is provided on a support, wherein the support is transversely adjustable to a feed direction of an electrical steel strip or electrical steel sheet through the application device.

31. The application device according to claim 25, further comprising a heating element configured to heat the adhesive in the at least one valve in an application area.

32. The application device according to claim 25, further comprising a frame, wherein the at least one application unit includes a first application unit and a second application unit, wherein the frame accommodates the first and second application units, wherein the first application unit is arranged above and the second application unit is arranged below an electrical steel strip or an electrical steel sheet transportable through the frame.
