Abstract

An apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus may include a hat. The hat may include a crown. The hat may include a bill coupled to the crown. The bill may protrude away from the crown. The apparatus may include a strip of pliant, resilient material. The strip may be coupled to the hat. The pliant, resilient material of the strip may include a high-density, closed-cell foam. The strip may be coupled to the bill of the hat.

Claims

1. An apparatus, comprising:

a hat, comprising

a crown, and

a bill coupled to the crown, wherein the bill protrudes away from the crown; and

a strip of pliant, resilient material, wherein the strip is coupled to the hat.

2. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the pliant, resilient material comprises a high-density, closed-cell foam.

3. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the plaint, resilient material comprises at least one of:

wool; and

cork.

4. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the strip comprises at least one of:

a circular shape; and

a rectangular shape.

5. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the strip comprises at least one of:

a groove; and

a protrusion.

6. The apparatus of claim 1:

wherein the strip comprises a first strip; and

further comprising a second strip of pliant, resilient material, wherein the second strip is coupled to the hat.

7. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the strip coupled to the hat comprises the strip being at least one of:

inserted into the hat;

sewn to the hat; and

glued to the hat.

8. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the strip being coupled to the hat comprises the strip being integrated into the hat.

9. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the strip is coupled to the bill of the hat.

10. The apparatus of claim 9, wherein the strip is disposed in a non-centered position on the bill.

11. The apparatus of claim 9, wherein the strip is disposed in a centered position on the bill.

12. The apparatus of claim 9, wherein the strip is disposed on an underside of the bill.

13. An apparatus, comprising:

a hat, comprising

a crown, and

a bill coupled to the crown, wherein the bill protrudes away from the crown; and

means for coupling a fishing hook, wherein the means for coupling is disposed on the hat.

14. The apparatus of claim 13:

wherein the means for coupling comprises a first means for coupling; and

further comprising a second means for coupling, wherein the second means for coupling is disposed on the hat.

15. The apparatus of claim 13, wherein the means for coupling being disposed on the hat comprises being at least one of:

inserted into the hat;

being sewn to the hat; and

being glued to the hat.

16. The apparatus of claim 13, wherein the means for coupling is disposed on the bill of the hat.

17. The apparatus of claim 16, wherein the means for coupling is disposed in a non-centered position on the bill.

18. The apparatus of claim 16, wherein the means for coupling is disposed in a centered position on the bill.

19. The apparatus of claim 16, wherein the means for coupling is disposed on an underside of the bill.

20. A hat comprising:

a crown;

a bill coupled to the crown, wherein the bill protrudes away from the crown; and

a strip of high-density, closed-cell foam, wherein the strip is integrally coupled to a non-center portion of the bill.
