Abstract

A method for a mortgage acquisition system is disclosed. A real estate agent invites a home buyer to the mortgage acquisition system. The home buyer submits information to the system through forms and a messaging portal. The system presents this information to potential lenders, and specifically excludes the home buyer'"'"'s personal identifying information (PII). The lender uses that information to submit information and mortgage terms to the customer. The home buyer decides on a mortgage lender based on the information and terms provided.

Claims

1. An apparatus comprising:

a processor configured to allow a home buyer to request product or service information from home buying service providers;

wherein the home buyer and home buying service providers are human;

wherein the home buyer is anonymous to the home buying service providers.

a storage device configured to store a home buyers'"'"' information and files typically needed by the home buying service providers to provide terms of the requested home buying services and information and files regarding the home buying service providers, their companies, and their services and products.

a network interface configured to serve a user interface to home buyers and home buying service providers.

2. The apparatus of claim 1 further comprising:

the processor is further configured to provide potential borrowers mortgage loan terms from mortgage loan originators working for or on behalf of lending institutions.

the storage device is further configured to store a potential borrowers'"'"' information and files typically needed by mortgage loan originators to present potential borrowers with mortgage product terms and information and files regarding the mortgage loan originators, their companies, and their mortgage products typically used by potential borrowers while shopping for a mortgage.

a network interface configured to serve a user interface to potential borrowers and mortgage loan originators.

3. The apparatus of claim 2 further comprising:

the processor is further configured to provide potential borrowers the ability to store financial documents.

the storage device is further configured to store a potential borrower'"'"'s financial documents.

4. The apparatus of claim 1 further comprising:

the processor is further configured to provide real estate agents the ability to refer their favorite home buying service providers to home buyers.

the storage device is further configured to store a real estate agents favorite home buying service providers.

a network interface configured to serve a user interface to real estate agents.

5. The apparatus of claim 4 further comprising:

the processor is further configured to provide real estate agents the ability to refer home mortgage loan originators to potential borrowers.

the storage device is further configured to store a real estate agents favorite mortgage loan originators.

6. A method comprising:

a home buyer requesting product or service information from home buying service providers;

wherein the home buyer and the home buying service providers are human;

wherein the home buyer is anonymous to the home buying service providers.

storing, in a storage device, a home buyers'"'"' information and files typically needed by the home buying service providers to provide terms of the requested home buying services and information and files regarding the home buying service providers, their companies, and their services and products.

transmitting, via a network interface, a user interface that allows home buyers and home buying service providers a means to input data and files the storage device.

7. The method of claim 6 further comprising:

a potential borrower requesting mortgage loan terms from mortgage loan originators working for on behalf of lending institutions.

storing, in a storage device, a potential borrowers'"'"' information and files typically needed by mortgage loan originators to present potential borrowers with mortgage product terms and mortgage loan originator data typically used by a potential borrower while shopping for a mortgage.

transmitting, via a network interface, a user interface that allows potential borrowers and mortgage loan originators a means to input data and files to the storage device.

8. The method of claim 7 further comprising:

A potential borrower storing their financial documents typically required to obtain a mortgage.

storing, in a storage device, a potential buyer'"'"'s financial documents.

transmitting, via a network interface, an indicator to mortgage loan originators that the borrower has completed their document organization;

wherein the indicator is a predictor of the potential borrowers'"'"' commitment to obtaining a mortgage.

transmitting, via a network interface, the financial documents stored by the potential borrower to the mortgage loan originator at such time the borrower wishes to transmit these documents.

9. The method of claim 6 further comprising:

a real estate agent referring their favorite home buying service providers to a home buyer.

storing, in a storage device, a real estate agents favorite home buying service providers.

transmitting, via a network interface, a user interface that allows a real estate agent a means to input data and files to the storage device.

10. The method of claim 9 further comprising:

a real estate agent referring their favorite mortgage loans originators to potential borrower.

storing, in a storage device, a real estate agents favorite mortgage loan originators.
