Abstract

A camera module includes a lens module including a lens, and a base module configured to accommodate the lens module therein. A fluorinated lubricant is disposed on a portion of at least one of the lens module and the base module, the fluorinated lubricant includes a fluorescent material capable of emitting fluorescent light when illuminated with ultraviolet (UV) light.

Claims

1. A camera module, comprising:

a lens module comprising a lens; and

a base module configured to accommodate the lens module therein, wherein a fluorinated lubricant is disposed on a portion of at least one of the lens module and the base module, the fluorinated lubricant comprising a fluorescent material capable of emitting a fluorescent light when illuminated with ultraviolet (UV) light.

2. The camera module of claim 1, wherein the fluorescent material comprises at least one of a compound represented by Chemical Formula 1 and a compound represented by Chemical Formula 2:

3. The camera module of claim 2, wherein the fluorescent material comprises at least one of a compound represented by Chemical Formula 1-1 and a compound represented by Chemical Formula 2-1:

4. The camera module of claim 1, wherein the fluorinated lubricant comprises a perfluoropolyether (PFPE)-based oil having a repeat unit represented by Chemical Formula 3:

5. The camera module of claim 1, wherein the base module comprises a ball member configured to guide movement of the lens module, and the fluorinated lubricant is disposed on a region of at least one of the lens module and the base module, the region being in contact with the ball member.

6. The camera module of claim 1, further comprising an aperture stop module coupled to the lens module, wherein the fluorinated lubricant is disposed on at least a portion of the aperture stop module.

7. An electronic device, comprising:

the camera module of claim 1 further comprising an image sensor configured to convert light incident through the lens disposed in the lens module to an electrical signal; and

a display unit disposed on a surface of the electronic device to display an image based on the electrical signal.

8. A camera module, comprising:

a lens module comprising a lens;

a base module configured to accommodate the lens module therein; and

an aperture stop module coupled to the lens module, wherein a fluorinated lubricant is disposed on at least a portion of the aperture stop module, the fluorinated lubricant comprising a fluorescent material capable of emitting a fluorescent light when illuminated with ultraviolet (UV) light.

9. The camera module of claim 8, wherein the fluorescent material comprises at least one of a compound represented by Chemical Formula 1 and a compound represented by Chemical Formula 2:

10. The camera module of claim 9, wherein the fluorescent material comprises at least one of a compound represented by Chemical Formula 1-1 and a compound represented by Chemical Formula 2-1:

11. The camera module of claim 8, wherein the fluorinated lubricant comprises a perfluoropolyether (PFPE)-based oil having a repeat unit represented by Chemical Formula 3:

The camera module of claim 8, wherein the aperture stop module comprises a base, at least one plate coupled to the base and comprising a through-hole, an aperture stop driving unit configured to move the at least one plate, and a ball member configured to guide movement of the aperture stop module, and wherein the fluorinated lubricant is disposed on a region of at least one of the base and the aperture stop driving unit, the region being in contact with the ball member.

13. An electronic device, comprising:

the camera module of claim 8 further comprising an image sensor configured to convert light incident through the lens disposed in the lens module to an electrical signal; and

a display unit disposed on a surface of the electronic device to display an image based on the electrical signal.

14. A lubricant composition, comprising:

a fluorinated lubricating material;

a solvent; and

a fluorinated fluorescent material comprising at least one of a compound represented by Chemical Formula 1 and a compound represented by Chemical Formula 2;

15. The lubricant composition of claim 14, wherein the fluorinated fluorescent material comprises at least one of a compound represented by Chemical Formula 1-1 and a compound represented by Chemical Formula 2-1:

16. The lubricant composition of claim 14, wherein the fluorinated lubricating material comprises a perfluoropolyether (PFPE)-based oil having a repeat unit represented by Chemical Formula 3, and the solvent comprises a hydrofluoroether (HFE)-based solvent represented by Chemical Formula 4:

17. The lubricant composition of claim 14, wherein the fluorinated fluorescent material is included in an amount from 0.01 wt % to less than 1 wt % with respect to a total weight of the lubricant composition.

18. A camera module comprising:

a lens module comprising a lens; and

a base module configured to accommodate the lens module therein, wherein the fluorinated lubricant composition of claim 17 is disposed on a portion of at least one of the lens module and the base module, the fluorinated lubricant emitting a fluorescent light when illuminated with ultraviolet (UV) light.

19. The camera module of claim 18, wherein the camera module is an electronic device further comprising an image sensor configured to convert light incident through the lens disposed in the lens module to an electrical signal, and a display unit disposed on a surface of the electronic device to display an image based on the electrical signal.
