a device to project an image onto the surface of the quantity of the material, the device adjustable in relation to the sensor to cause the image to have;
a specified shape when the sonic signal impacts the surface of the quantity of the material at a specified angle, anda different shape when the sonic signal impacts the surface of the quantity of the material at different angle.
