Abstract

An adapter assembly is formed from an adapter housing with a recess configured to accept an adapter panel hook. The adapter assembly is secured within a panel using the adapter panel hook. The adapter panel hook has opposing side portions connected by a joining plate. Each side portion has an elastic pawl with opposing elastic members. The elastic members are configured to be secured between the adapter outer housing and panel wall opening to reduce vibration at the adapter housing.

Claims

1. An adapter assembly, comprising:

an adapter with an outer housing,

the outer housing has a recess configured for accepting an adapter panel hook;

the adapter panel hook further comprising;

opposing first side portion and second side portion connected with a joining plate;

the first side portion and the second side portion each have an elastic pawl;

the elastic pawl bends outward;

opposing elastic members on either side of the elastic pawl;

each opposing elastic member bends inward; and

wherein

a proximal end of each of the elastic member is received in a gap to secure the adapter from vibration after the adapter assembly is inserted into a panel.

2. The adapter assembly according to claim 1, wherein the first side portion and the second side portion are substantially perpendicular to the joining plate plane P-P′

3. The adapter assembly according to claim 2, wherein the elastic member further comprises a plural of inward bends obtuse to each other to form the inward bend of each elastic member.

4. The adapter assembly according to claim 3, wherein the elastic pawl is positioned outside the opposing elastic members.

5. The adapter assembly according to claim 4, wherein the elastic pawl has an end portion that bends inward toward the elastic members.

6. An adapter panel hook, comprising:

opposing first side portion and second side portion connected with a joining plate;

the first side portion and the second side portion each have an elastic pawl;

the elastic pawl bends outward;

opposing elastic members on either side of the elastic pawl;

each opposing elastic member bends inward; and

wherein

a proximal end of each of the elastic member is received in a gap to secure the adapter from vibration after the adapter assembly is inserted into a panel.

7. The adapter panel hook according to claim 6, wherein the first side portion and the second side portion are substantially perpendicular to the joining plate along plane P-P′

.

8. The adapter panel hook according to claim 7, wherein the elastic member further comprises a plural of inward bends obtuse to each other to form the inward bend of each elastic member.

9. The adapter panel hook according to claim 8, wherein the elastic pawl is positioned outside the opposing elastic members.

10. The adapter panel hook according to claim 9, wherein the elastic pawl has an end portion that bends inward toward the elastic members.
