A user equipment (UE) which supports a new radio access technology (NR) receives a SS block measurement timing configuration (SMTC) from a network, and performs measurement based on the SS blocks in a duration which is determined based on the SMTC. The SS blocks are included in an active bandwidth part (BWP).
