THE METHOD OF PRODUCING A NON-CONDUCTIVE OBJECT HAVING A CONDUCTIVE NON-METALLIC, TRANSPARENT, REFLECTIONREDUCING COATING ON A SURFACE THEREOF, WHICH COMPRISES FORMING SUCH A COATING ON SAID OBJECT BY APPLYING TO SAID SURFACE A SOLUTION OF AN ORGANIC COMPOUND SELECTED FROM THE GROUP CONSISTING OF TITANIC AND SILICIC ACID ESTERS AND MIXTURES THEREOF IN ITS PARTIALLY HYDROLYZED FORM, AND HEATING THE FILM THEREBY FORMED ON SAID SURFACE TO CONVERT SAID PARTIALLY-HYDROLYZED ORGANIC COMPOUND INTO ITS CORRESPONDING OXIDE, WHEREBY AN ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE COATING IS FORMED ON SAID OBJECT.
