1. In an engine life recorder system, the combination comprising, a first and second signal conditioner means for receiving respectively an r.p.m. signal input and a temperature signal input, a summing circuit for receiving the respective outputs of said first and second signal conditioner means for providing an analog signal related to the instantaneous rate of engine life being used, said analog signal being fed to a digital log converter for converting said analog signal to a pulse train having a total pulse count proportional to the antilog of said analog instantaneous rate usage signal, a digital integrator circuit for receiving the variable count pulse train from said digital log converter means for supplying pulses at a reduced rate, a counter drive means for receiving said pulses from said integrator circuit, and a display counter connected to said counter drive means for accumulating a count indicating percentage engine life used.
