Abstract
WHEREIN X represents -CH3 or -O-CH3. These agents are extracted from the growth of Spicaria divaricatum NRRL 5771. The compound wherein X is -CH3 is particularly active in inhibiting the growth of fungi, bacteria, viruses, and in addition is an effective anti-desoxycorticosterone acetate (DCA) agent.
