Abstract
Drilling apparatus for installing casing while drilling in which a mobile head is connected to the lower end of a casing by bearing means. A drilling pipe string extends through the casing and is coupled to the casing at the upper end. A drilling bit is fixed to the lower end of the drill pipe and includes a plurality of retractable arms which cooperate with recesses in the mobile head to rigidly connect the drilling bit to the mobile head.
