Control of heating and cooling available from central sources to a multi-zone temperature controlled space
First Claim
1. A method for automatically controlling the amounts of heating and cooling simultaneously available from a central location to heat and cool a plurality of temperature controlled zones, said method comprising the steps of determining separately the representative heating and cooling demands of said zones, comparing said heating and cooling demands alternately with respective reference values provided by a single means, controlling the amount of heat available as a function of the result of said heating demand comparison, and controlling the amount of cooling available as a function of the result of said cooling demand comparison.
