1. A process for improving the disintegratability of moistened paper comprising applying a dilute aqueous solution of a cellulase enzyme complex containing at least about five units each of C1 - and Cx -components of enzyme activity per ml. of said solution to newly formed paper after leaving the forming section but prior to entering the drying section so that said paper contains from about 75% to about 80% water after said application, followed by drying in which the temperature of said paper is not raised above about 100°
