A denture cleaning concentrate consisting essentially of an aqueous solution containing 4 to 10 percent by weight of orthophosphoric acid, 3.5 to 5 percent by weight of a water soluble alkyl phenyl polyglycolether, 0.5 to 1.0 percent by weight of a quaternary ammonium germicide containing one alkyl group of 10 to 20 carbon atoms and three lower organic radicals selected from the group consisting of methyl, ethyl and benzyl and 0.003 to 0.01 percent by weight of a chemical indicator for pH which undergoes a color change at pH about 4.5.
