1. A process for manufacturing a pressure sensitive resistance element of the type comprising a discontinuous phase of conducting particles substantially uniformly distributed in a matrix of a cured polymerizable resin comprisingproviding a polymerizable, elastomeric resin composition of liquid to pasty consistency which is polymerizable with the aid of a polymerizing catalystproviding finely divided metal conducting particles in a ratio of resin:

  • metal conducting particles of about 100;

    75 to 100;

    110 by weight3. coating the particles with a thin layer of a deformable, electrically semi-conducting compound and mixing the particles with the resin composition, and4. curing the resultant mix.
