A radiation curable urethane composition comprising the reaction product of (I) an organic polyisocyanate, (II) an hydroxyalkyl acrylate of the formula ##STR3## wherein Z is hydrogen or methyl and K is a divalent alkylene group of from 2 to 5 carbon atoms and (III) an hydroxyl compound of the formula:

m is an integer having a value of from 1 to 70; and
wherein the mole percent of (II);
(III) is from 50 to 98;

A radiation curable urethane composition comprising the reaction product of (I) an organic polyisocyanate, (II) an hydroxyalkyl acrylate of the formula ##STR3## wherein Z is hydrogen or methyl and K is a divalent alkylene group of from 2 to 5 carbon atoms and (III) an hydroxyl compound of the formula:
