1. A composition suitable for the treatment of keratin materials, which composition is intended to be rinsed out after application, said composition comprising at least one anionic polymer containing at least one of a sulfonic acid, carboxylic acid and phosphoric acid unit, said anionic polymer having a molecular weight of from about 500 to 5 million;

  • at least one cationic polymer in a solvent medium, said anionic and said cationic polymers each being present in an amount from about 0.01 to about 10% relative to the total weight of the composition;

    at least one of an anionic, cationic, non-ionic or amphoteric surface-active agent or a mixture thereof present in an amount from about 0.1 to 70% by weight relative to the total weight of the composition.
