Radio controlled miniature target vehicle and radio control accessory for binoculars
First Claim
1. A miniature self-propelled vehicle adapted to be remotely controlled with auxiliary extended-vision control means, and having:
- a. propulsion means along each of two sides to engage a supporting surface,b. two electric motors connected to drive the propulsion means, one motor connected to the propulsion means at one of said two sides of the vehicle and the other motor connected to the propulsion means at the other of said two sides of the vehicle, and the motor connections being independent of each other,c. an electrical energy cell,d. switchgear for each motor including a proportional speed control connected to receive electrical energy from the energy cell and to transmit electrical energy to its motor,e. a signal processor connected with the proportional speed control to determine the direction of rotation and the angular velocity of the electric motor, said processor adapted to receive and respond to radio signals,f. a radio transmitter for broadcasting radio signals to said processor, the transmitter having two sets of selector devices, one for each motor, to select for each motor the direction of rotation and the angular velocity thereof, andg. extended-vision control means comprising an auxiliary control device cooperable with a visual aid instrument and electrically connected to the radio transmitter, whereby an operator in remote control of the vehicle also personally observes the vehicle by means of the visual aid instrument and thereby personally directs the vehicle via said auxiliary control device in accordance with observations made by means of said instrument.

Abstract
An extended vision control device or accessory for selective attachable-detachable use with visual aid instruments such as binoculars, or monocular optical telescopes and the like, to enhance both visual tracking and radio control movement of mobile vehicles, such as model or miniature target tanks, trucks and the like. This accessory control device includes at least one housing for finger-operable controls, each housing adaptable for removable mounting upon a visual aid sighting instrument by means of quick attachable-detachable fasteners, and each housing further includes a control lever and an electrical conductor cable connectable with various of commercially available radio wave transmitter units having one or more sets of selector control devices, to thereby enhance movement observation and continuing radio-controlled operation of the device with which it is associated.
