1. In a laminated film having:

  • (A) an organic polymer film,(B) a thin metal layer having a thickness of 30 to 500 A laminated on at least one surface of said organic polymer film,(C) the improvement which comprises coating said thin metal layer with a transparent thin layer containing metal compounds and having a thickness of 0.02 to 0.3μ

    laminated on said thin metal layer (B),wherein at least 60 wt. % of said transparent thin layer (C) comprises zirconium, silicon and oxygen, and at least 60 molar % of metal elements in the above transparent thin layer (C) comprises zirconium and silicon in the range of molar ratio Zr/Si of 80/20 to 20/80, whereby said film shows significant increases in resistance against abrasion, light, weather, and heat.
