Abstract

Compounds of the general formula ##STR1## wherein R represents an alkyl group of 1 to 3 carbon atoms or the group N(R₂)₂, in which R₂ represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group of 1 to 3 carbon atoms, or an acyl group of 1 to 3 carbon atoms, and R₁ has the same meaning as R or is a hydrogen atom, are new and are suitable as chromogens for measuring H₂ O₂ formation in enzymatic reactions.

Claims

1. A compound of the formula ##STR10## wherein R represents the group N(R₂)₂, in which each R₂ is an alkyl group of 1 to 3 carbon atoms, or one R₂ is an acyl group of 1 to 3 and the other R₂ is an alkyl group of 1 to 3 carbon atoms, and R₁ has the same meaning as R or is a hydrogen atom or NH₂.

2. Compound of claim 1, wherein R=NH₂ and R₁ =H.

3. Compound of claim 1 wherein R is N(R₂)₂ in which R₂ is an alkyl group of 1 to 3 carbon atoms.
