1. A humidity sensitive resistor, comprising:

  • a pair of detecting electrodes (2,

         3) formed on an insulating substrate (1); and

a humidity sensitive film (4) formed by coating on the detecting electrodes, said humidity sensitive film being formed of an integrated structure of a first layer macromolecular resin film (5) containing a polyvinyl alcohol polymer and an electrolyte and a second layer of hygroscopic macromolecular resin film (6) coating on said first layer macromolecular resin film (5), said humidity sensitive resistor being characterized in that the water absorbing rate of the second layer high molecular resin film (6) by moisture absorption is smaller than that of the first layer macromolecular resin film (5).
