2. A method for producing solid state electrochemical cells comprising the steps of:
-
(a) forming a cell preassembly comprising a malleable metal anode selected from the group consisting of alkali metals, alkaline earth metals, aluminum, copper, silver, lead, and alloys and mixtures thereof; (b) isostatically compressing the cell preassembly at a pressure of between about 10,000 and about 100,000 pounds per square inch; and (c) finishing the isostatically compressed cell by sealing said cell into a cell container. - View Dependent Claims (3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8)
