Cooling control system and expansion valve therefor
First Claim
1. A cooling control system comprising a cooling apparatus having a refrigerant compressor, a vapor condenser to condense refrigerant pressurized by the compressor, an expansion valve means for controlling flow rate of the refrigerant and for expanding the refrigerant condensed by the condenser under pressure, an evaporator for evaporating the expanded refrigerant, and a blower for directing fluid to be cooled to the evaporator,a first temperature detection means for detecting a temperature of the fluid to be cooled,a second temperature detection means for detecting a temperature of the refrigerant which is introduced into the evaporator,a detection means for detecting a temperature difference between a temperature of the refrigerant discharged from the evaporator and the temperature of the refrigerant introduced into the evaporator, anda control means for controlling operations of the compressor as well as the blower and for controlling an opening of the expansion valve means in response to the temperature of the refrigerant introduced into the evaporator detected by the second temperature detection means, the temperature difference detected by the temperature difference detection means, and the temperature of the fluid detected by the first temperature detection means.
