1. A machine-implemented method of operating a thermal power generating plant having at least one power generating unit comprising the steps of:

  • (A) determining, in accordance with a given time point t1 at which the power generating unit is to become capable of load control and assumed time length T1 for time length of initial load holding TINT, a predicted value t'"'"'PI of a time point tPI of parallel-in, a predicted value t'"'"'GT of a time point tGT of a gas turbine start; and

a predicted value t'"'"'INC of a time point tINC of initial load hold completion; and

    (B) correcting the predicted values t'"'"'PI, t'"'"'GT and t'"'"'INC by adding k(t1-t'"'"'INC) to t'"'"'PI, t'"'"'GT and t'"'"'INC, respectively, k being a given value satisfying 0<
